SFSDS Dancing is EXCITING Now! |
| This past Friday Katrina Branson joined us at Dance Moves. We had a blast dancing and introducing our Dance Jam...Couples came out into the middle of the circle to strut their stuff until the next couple came to play. We'll continue to have our Jam's along with our Jack 'n Jill for a chance to win prizes and the Grand Prize of (2) weekend tickets to the 2010 Ft. Lauderdale Swing & Shag Beach Bash. Chrissy from Party Foods from Cricket, our new Refreshment Caterer began our new menu...it was her 2nd week with another sensational recipe. Jim & Laura Houck will be teaching the 2Step and we're having (2) mixers. Mimi & John will be introducing a partner/mixer dance called the Renegade Mixer. It's a 48 count dance that is generally done to any ecs music. It is so much fun because it is a dance done in the sweetheart position where the followers go back line of dance three partners and pick up a new "sweetheart".
We presently have 278 members and we have so much instore for the future! We have been working on our introducing the Travel Club to our members this month and because the Styling & Movement Workshop was amazing...so we're planning another one; Angel Figueroa coming to town, Roadtrips to see Mario Robau, Tampa, Orlando & Jax Dance Weekends... *Our official date to begin our SFSDS Dance Night at The Grand Ballroom is March 16th (561) 272-0000; 5858 W. Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach (between Jog Rd & Military Trail on Atlantic Ave next to La Rue Furniture) We're still looking for volunteers for office work, front desk and set-up...only 1 1/2 hours gets you free entry into any dance.
