'SFSDS Isn't just about west coast swing'
We're excited to transition into a more inclusive experience. All dancers/dance genres welcomed.
At our dances we provide an extensive selection of dance styles, including west coast swing, country 2-step, salsa, hustle and BALLROOM. Our skilled instructors are not only passionate about dance but also committed to helping you reach your personal dance aspirations. Whether you're looking to learn a new style, enhance your technique, or simply enjoy yourself, our club caters to all levels and interests.
He is currently vice-president and examinations chairman
of the National Dance Teachers Association of america. (NDTA)
Lee has been teaching Ballroom, Latin, and Disco since
1978, and Country/Western since 1991.
He has his licentiate degrees in the International Standard and International Latin Styles,
the American Rhythm, and the Theater Arts Style with the American
International Dance Association (AIDA), a member degree in the
American Smooth and Rhythm with the North American Dance
Teachers Association, and his masters degrees in the American
Smooth and American Rhythm Styles with the National Dance
Teachers Association (NDTA).
He is registered to adjudicate with USA Dance.
A former professional and pro-am ballroom competitor,
he has judged and competed professionally in many competitions in
the United States and abroad including the
United States Dancesport Championships (USDC).
We are thrilled that Lee Fox will be returning to teach!

Dear Members,
The club is continually growing and working to keep up with the changes in the dance community and the music. We’ve been encouraging our members and the dance community to engage in giving us their feedback on music and any new ideas that they may have to improve their evening.
We can accommodate any music request because the SFSDS dance is for everyone.
This club was founded for the “Swing dance community,” when we began, we played all types of swing music but over the years, we have expanded our music genres to cater to our Hustle, Salsa, Country, Line dance, Latin and Ballroom requests. We play for the entire room, with so many options for the WCS crowd we feel that we can add the other dances for those who don’t wish to dance WCS
all night long.
Most recently, we have been in discussions with the National Dance Teachers Association regarding a possible alliance with our Board of Directors.
